THAI
The most outstanding fighting sport in Thailand
Muay Thai is an antique martial art based on the values of respect, discipline and centuries-old Thai tradition.
Muay Thai is a martial art and fighting sport at its finest. Known as the art of the eight arms (2 fists, 2 elbows, 2 knees and 2 legs), this discipline was originally intended to be practised with bare hands. In ancient times, the use of the head was also permitted, along with the aforementioned weapons. This fighting style uses a wide range of standing strikes and clinch techniques. The term Muay Thai can be translated as Thai fighting.
The training is designed to improve resistance, strength, speed and the ability to react quickly and decisively. It is an exceptionally comprehensive physical activity that requires a high degree of coordination, balance, agility, concentration and discipline.
For both children and adults, Muay Thai plays a vital role in the personal improvement. It is a tool of education, socialization, balance and therapy, essential for the growth and well-being of the individual.
